Medha Desai, APRN

Medha is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Connecticut. She received her undergraduate degree in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut, her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Saint Joseph and graduated with her family nurse practitioner degree from Regis College. Medha worked as a bedside RN for several years prior to working as an OB/GYN APRN. Throughout her schooling, clinical and work experience, she has become passionate about promoting women’s health across the lifespan and encouraging patients to become active participants in their care. She also enjoys educating women and providing individualized patient care through all stages of life in relation to sexual health, obstetrics and gynecology.

Outside of nursing, Medha loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and trying new coffee shops with her husband and daughter. She is excited to be part of the OBGYN Group of Eastern Connecticut team and contribute to providing high quality, patient centered care.
